Narrow web ink specialist Pulse Roll Label Products enjoyed its inaugural Labelexpo Southeast Asia, held in Bangkok from May 10-12. The company exhibited alongside its exclusive Thai partner, Press Systems Group.

Live ink mixing and color matchings showcased first-hand the benefits of its UV flexo PureTone ink system and proved to be very popular with 36 live demonstrations performed throughout the show period. The company’s highly resistant PureFinish UV flexo digital gloss varnish for overprinting digital inks, verified by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) as part of the HP Overprint Varnish Performance Program, was also running on AB Graphic International’s Digicon machine on the HP stand.

“We had a great show thanks to the excellent support from our Thai partner, Press Systems Group,” says George Lyle. “It was exceptionally busy throughout the whole three days with a constant stream of visitors. Many high-quality business leads were generated, and we welcomed visitors from many countries, including Australia, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey. Southeast Asia is an important strategic market for us so we welcome this show being added to the Labelexpo Global Series of events and look forward to coming back to Bangkok in 2020.”

Other ink and varnish solutions were also presented at the show, including: PureScreen, a concept for blending UV screen inks, tactile effect varnishes and company’s food packaging compliant range – all formulated specifically for narrow web label printing and packaging applications.
